Who are these parenting workshops for?
If your organisation, community group, or charity works with and supports families and children, these workshops are perfect for them!
They are especially valuable for:
✔ New parents navigating infant care and bonding.
✔ Parents of toddlers and preschoolers looking for sensory-rich learning strategies.
✔ Families of children with additional needs who want practical ways to support development.
✔ Parents facing challenges like premature birth, mental health struggles, or isolation who would benefit from peer support.
Are these workshops for parents who need a confidence boost or want to upskill?
Absolutely! Parenting is amazing, fun, loud, and messy—but it can also be overwhelming, isolating, and full of conflicting advice from family, friends, and social media.
My workshops provide:
💡 Easy-to-understand insights on child development so parents feel confident.
🏡 Practical ways to use their home & everyday items to engage their child’s senses.
⏳ Time-saving strategies so they can stimulate and support their child while sticking the dinner on or walking the dog!
💛 A reminder that they’re already ROCKING this parenting stuff—they just don’t know it yet!
Because knowledge is power.
What happens during a parent workshop?
I come to your venue, at a time that suits you—including evenings or weekends.
Here’s what parents can expect:
✔ I bring ALL THE LOVELY RESOURCES – so parents can explore and play with sensory materials.
✔ A hands-on MAKE & TAKE session – parents create simple, effective sensory resources to use at home.
✔ A practical WORKBOOK – full of easy-to-apply strategies for supporting child development.
✔ PEER SUPPORT & a cuppa! – because sometimes, the best support comes from chatting with others who get it!
This isn’t just an information session—it’s interactive, engaging, and designed to help parents feel confident and capable in their parenting journey.
Why book through an organisation instead of as individual families?
Peer support is a massive part of parenting. These workshops create a space where parents with shared experiences—whether it’s navigating infancy, toddlerhood, or supporting children with additional needs—can connect, learn, and support each other.
Community groups, charities, and organisations are in the perfect position to:
✔ Bring together parents with shared experiences for extra support.
✔ Strengthen family support programmes with practical, research-backed strategies.
✔ Provide a safe space for parents to learn, share, and grow together.
What about health & safety?
I work within recommended guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all participants.
✔ Risk assessments are agreed in advance to ensure training is suitable for your setting.
✔ If an in-person session isn’t possible, I offer online workshops via Zoom and post sensory kits & workbooks to participants ahead of time.
Simple, safe, and effective!
